Ultrasound Seminars One day ultrasound seminars aimed at the beginner or revising sonographer. Each seminar includes a mixture of didactic and interactive presentations supported by experts in each field. The seminar series has been running, in Melbourne and Sydney, since 2001 and previous participants have found the program extremely beneficial. Cost $160 per seminar. Ultrasound Seminars This series of ultrasound seminars is run to support students enrolled in the GDMU at Monash University. The seminars are open to a limited number of external participants. The aims of the seminar are for participants to; * Understand in detail, the protocol for ultrasound examinations * Recognise suboptimal imaging and understand the technical and practical ways of image optimisation * Appreciate and learn the technical requirements and sonographic appearances of pathology * Appreciate the possibilities of advanced practice in a given area * .Develop a reflective approach to their clinical practice.
